I tried to take Chewie to get groomed at ze wonderful petsmartass store but I didn’t know we needed an appointment! And I could tell they were thinking about giving me an appointment but they took one look at our chewie and said no! maybe he looked too fuzzy and unkempt). I was so ready to take advantage of the all inclusive $15 puppy grooming package and get him all pretty and cleaned up for his photo shoot. In the end we just washed and brushed and cleaned him at home… he looked great! but I drew blood –again! This was the second time I was overeager clipping his toenails, I think I’ve scarred him! He won’t let me touch his rear paws that much, but Chewie still loves me though :). I’ve been working on de-sensitizing him to having his paws held but its been tough. But his new photo is up on my page now!

Oh and then watching Xmen3 on a Saturday night with popcorn and drinks even! was a highlight because I hadn’t been to the theater in ages. It was good fun, but I still think Xmen2 was better :).

On Sunday we went to the LA zoo, that was a lot of fun. The weather was perfect and I got to see a lot of animals that weren’t there the last time I went to the zoo several years ago. I think the best were the huge tortoises (the same diameter of a small dining table), the giraffes, the komodo dragon!, oh and the kookaburra who gave us a show. What a clown. He knew how to smack those dead mice!

Then of course after realizing that I want to go on a diet, I went to Maggiano’s with my family for Lawrence’s bday and then had BBQ with Michael’s family afterwards. I tried to watch what I ate!!

This week I’m still roommate hunting and I hope to find a nice smart career/business oriented low maintenance reliable roommate this week– no drama! I was starting to think that its almost like picking someone you would marry but not just date, someone you really actually in reality live with in the same place. So far most people were questionable for me, either too quiet, too wierd, or too silly and stupid, or *gasp* too young. So hopefully some better choices will show up this week. Also this week, I have to prepare for a presentation on Monday at work, and my final paper is due for my class next week… so not much fun this weekend! ehh… I’ll find a way to have some fun :).

Dog Whisperer rules the house today, it hit close to home and brought a tear (of joy) to my eye

i think i have been hanging around posting on forums with too many shopping addicts online. i found the cutest korean brand called Lovcat! www.lovcat.com, that and i’ve been looking at shopbop.com and i think i participating in too much capitalistic corruption. save me before i become paris hilton #2!

so he was named Chewie.

he’s growing bigger every day and now my conversations center around the consistency of his poop, and if he was good that day and didn’t pee inside.

what a life. i’m more tired lately, but its all worth it.

soon he’ll have his little balls cut off, and he’ll be our little eunuch.

i can’t wait for thanksgiving break, vegas here i come!!

going to SF was so fun, i got to see one of my best friends get hitched!!! it was absolutely wonderful, and the prime rib and chocolate fondue weren’t bad either … ok besides food, it was great to see my cal friends again, and we got to get all glammed up with hair and makeup. of course i didn’t take my camera :(,  i’m still waiting for pics so will post soon!

i really liked the makeup artist that ives used, i went to sephora.com and started window shopping again for stila products hehe… yeah i need to save money instead i know.

i think i finally caught up on sleep, after i got back into LA on sunday morning with m,  we just slept the whole day, and then monday and tuesday night i think i’ve slept a good 10 hours each night… back to working harder =P.

i missed work last friday which was a missed free lunch at work, but again today we have free food… i’m getting fed too well, i need to start back a workout regiment!

i still need to figure out what to do for labor day too, any ideas?

after the origins day, i went with m to go fishing actually! we caught a few striper (striped bass), well i got some sun along the aqueduct and came home with a funky tan, and we had fish that night for dinner…and i got a really funky tan line on my lower back =P time to start using more tan in a can?

i saw team america… uh… that movie was a little out of control.  though i think it might give me some good ideas for something to write… though the puppet sex scene was so funny, why isn’t complete nudity/naked puppet sex and even implying oral sex like x-rated? last weekend i watched march of the penguins (which i loved and i’m happy i got to see, thank you for taking me m i know you were bored), but they had penguins doing it in the movie too! but its rated G!!!! i don’t get it … hmm.

i wanted to see my brother yesterday but somehow planning just didn’t work out.  we were going to go to the hollywood bowl but eh… maybe another day when its not after work.

this past weekend we went to a wedding, it was a lutheran service. it was a nice service, maybe it would have been more fun if i knew the bridal party more. i have a wedding to go to though in a few weeks, i get to be a bridesmaid, i thought it was going to be a nice experience, and i’m pretty excited to see my friends get hitched! though with some of the girls stressing out here and there, i hope its still fun for everyone involved, especially the bride!

i’ve been trying to think of what to do on labor day weekend, its already coming up on the end of summer!

I went to Origins today since they were doing a promotional massage/facial/makeup sessions. and AHHH I feel so good now. The masseuse was awesome, back, neck, head, arms and hand massage, then face massage and dermabrasion. I feel like melting and floating away =)

they have an awesome website www.origins.com, their ginger stuff is sooo good and i’m not like trying to sell their products but I love their new paradise found creams, and Its a Perfect World (its definitely a perfect world when you are getting massaged and smelling good).

OH! and I am in love with this Hawaiian Guava soap from Pacifica Soaps and Candles… www.pacificasoaps.com. They have stuff at the whole foods market too but I use this every morning in my shower and it smells so good it makes me happy, and its not like you reek of strong perfume afterwards, just during the shower it smells so wonderful, and it leaves you nice and clean and fresh.

I have to go into work for a bit, then its more R&R for me.

Tonight I hope I get to see Fantastic 4, I have  hot date =)… since there are no good movies out at least we can go watch a cheesy comic book movie. I was so tired yesterday I was almost falling asleep while people at work were trying to talk to me… zzzzzz. So I think I deserve a nice restful weekend (and somewhat productive one too of course!).

its nice to have a normal week, the short week last week was more exasparating since i was just waiting for the weekend to come so much sooner.

this past weekend was oh so relaxing, m and i drove up to mt. pinos near frazier park and we saw a meadow full of blooming irises up near a nordic base. very cool. we got to try the marie callender’s blueberry pie but it wasn’t very good at all. it tasted like currants or something… the best blueberry pie still was the pie at rock creek lakes resort yummy.  we almost didn’t go but it made our 4th of july. and we are still thinking about the pie a week later =P~~~ http://www.rockcreeklake.com/resort/

i have another blog too but i always ignore it =( and i had a website that sorta just disappeared now, so somehow i should just make one site and stick to it.

i just posted a pic of the dog we had for a day last christmas, she somehow got named jenny, she was a bit rambunctious and seemed to be the alpha of the litter…a pit bull/border collie mix … pretty cute as a baby though. she sorta was biting and jumping all over me but then i sorta jumped and scared her and then she was shy. i didn’t think i was that terrifying.
